ACHIEVE
CMHA-CC contracts with the Open Door Group to provide ACHIEVE, an Employment Program for Persons with Disabilities. This program is funded by the BC Ministry of Housing and Social Development. ACHIEVE is a self-referred or Ministry-referred program that helps people with disabilities who want to find gainful employment in a highly effective and efficient manner. Employment Counsellors assist participants to identify and reach employment goals by developing an employment plan that is suitable given existing skills and experience. Employment Counsellors can help with assessments, identifying employment goals or with job readiness. Once completed participantswill be supported throughout the job search process and Employment Counsellors will help participants to market themselves to employers.
No cost to eligible participants.

Routes to Work
Routes to Work is a program Funded by Services Canada’s Opportunity Fund and operates as a sub-contract with CMHA National Office. Routes to Work provides one-on-one employment counselling services to Williams Lake and area. Services include an assessment of client skills and interests, workshops to develop employability skills, placements and job coaching to ensure success.

An Employer:
- Are you an employer looking for a dedicated employee? The Routes to Work Employment Services Worker will assist you infinding an employee that will fit your requirements.
- We can assist you in learning more about mental illness in the workplace and the retention of employee's with Mental Illness
Unemployed and looking for work:
- Do you have a mental illness such as depression, anxiety, or even bi-polar disorder?
- Do you need a job?
- Do you need individual support to help achieve your employment goals?
- Are you new to Williams Lake and seeking information?
A Service Provider:
- Are you a service provider seeking an employment referral agency for individual support?
